HAVAL H9 RECOGNISED AS FINALIST IN COVETED 2020 CARS.CO.ZA CONSUMER AWARDS

It’s been a great year for Haval in terms of accolades, and as we prepare to leave 2019 behind to make our way into a brand-new decade there is yet another well-deserved South African award winking on the horizon.

The Cars.co.za Consumer Awards (powered by WesBank) is now in its 5th year, and has been established as one of the most definitive automotive awards programme throughout Southern Africa. The contenders for the coming year's 13 category winners and Brand of the Year recipient were announced on the 4th of October, and the winners will ultimately be named at a prestigious awards ceremony in Johannesburg this coming February.

The Haval H9 was named as one of the 39 finalists (3 in each of 13 categories), and will contend in the Adventure category, marking the first time a Chinese automaker has reached this level of the awards.

According to Cars.co.za content creator and photojournalist David Taylor, the H9 2.0T 4WD Luxury “is a tremendous value proposition, impressively spacious, superbly practical, well-made and lavishly equipped.” Here are a few more reasons why we believe it made the cut:
